Trade & Industrial Welding – High School
Minimum of 5 years verifiable Welding/Metal Fabrication industry experience.
Poses, or be eligible for a valid teaching certification for Trade & Industrial Education.
Work with students, teachers, parents, community partners, and Director of Career and Technical Education to implement and manage the Welding program at Royal High School. Courses taught will be within the framework of the goals and policy established by local, state, and federal statutes.
Teach CTE Welding & Manufacturing Pathway courses as assigned on campus.
Assist CTE Director with equipping, furnishing, and supplying RHS-CTE Welding Center.
Be willing to attend certification classes and professional development opportunities (i.e.-TIVA as deemed necessary by district leadership).
Develop and support student competitions for Welding at Jr. Colleges and industry partners (i.e.-Blinn, WVJC, Austin Count fair, etc)
